In the third book of the Countdown series, a group of teenagers assume they are the only ones left alive after a brutal plague strikes, but as something evil lurks in the shadows, they soon discover they’re not alone.

It’s 1999 and the overpopulation problem has been solved… but at what cost?

On a planet decimated by a brutal plague, the number one pastime has become staying alive. The survivors—teenagers—thought they were the only people left on Earth, but they quickly discover they’re not the sole survivors.

Something is watching them. Something ancient and evil. Something that has waited for centuries for its time to arrive.
