Duke, the Greyhound, Goes to the Beach

This is the story of Duke, a greyhound who visits the beach for the first time. He is not comfortable in the sand, is unhappy with the cold, salty water, and afraid of the waves. He becomes an unlikely hero when he saves a child who has fallen overboard into the ocean. By his act of heroism he overcomes his fears and learns to love the ocean. An additional bonus is that he learns to swim and makes some new friends. Readers will learn a lot about how special a greyhound can be.
