Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop tackles the controversial topic of gentrification from a childs perspective. Clarisse is a very curious and insightful young girl who loves her neighborhood. However, she does not like that she is always moving because her mother can no longer afford the apartment they live in. The neighborhood is changing and it seems that Clarisses mother cannot keep up with these changes. Clarisse notices that every time a coffee shop opens in her neighborhood, she mysteriously has to move. Its either Clarisse or the Coffee Shop..who will stay?
