Arctic Butterfly

Just before dawn, six-year-old Kula puts on her leggings and sealskin jacket and she and her puppy Chimo sneak out of the igloo.

Her father, Pauli is many days late hunting for seal and she is terrified he will never return home. Desperately, she and her puppy dash past mountains of snow to find her father.

When her mother, Elisia realizes Kula is gone and her husband also hasn''t returned from hunting, she calls together the people of the village who agree to search for Kula and Pauli.
