I really enjoyed reading this - to me unknown - classic. The language is wonderfully easy flowing and the characters in the story refreshingly modern - for all its late 1800's style. Encourages extensive googling about historic events and living conditions during the 19th century.
This particular edition is a bit messy to read layout-wise - huge format but small text - like reading a printed overloaded pdf. Manageable, but not enjoyable - a regular paperback had made the reading experience more positive.
