In honor of the 80th birthday of one of the grandmasters of American experimental fiction, editor St phane Vanderhaeghe has gathered critical essays and appreciations by William Gass, John Barth, Bradford Morrow, Shelley Jackson, Kathryn Hume, Brian Evenson, Kate Bernheimer, Rick Moody, and many more along with prose and poetry by Coover himself.
Jane O'Connor and John O'Brien also collaborated on the companion title "Sir Small and the Dragonfly," They both live in New York City. Irving MaIin is a member of the faculty of City College of New York.Stephane Vanderhaeghe is Associate Professor at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, where he teaches American literature. His research focuses on contemporary, avant-garde writers and he has published essays on Robert Coover, Ben Marcus, or Shelley Jackson.
