Crazy Quilting has always been a dream of mine to try since I saw a beautifulcrazy quilt cushion in Smithills Hall I have always felt daunted by the processbut this book has taken away that fear. There are ten projects in this bookand everything you need to know to make them is in the book. You are taken through easy steps how to crazy quilt. Everything from materials to use to how touse the piecing method. Then it's straight into the projects. The first project is the tablet purse. You start off with a bulleted list of everything you will need to complete the project. Then it's onto the making. With each picture you are shown the things you need to complete and where you can find each of the stitches in the book. As it is broken down into smaller parts it doesn't seem quite as daunting. Once you have completed the front panel you are then talked through the back panel and how to assemble the purse. After the projects is the stitch dictionary. You are supplied with step by step instructions with some pictures to support you. Pictures are included on some of the stitches to show how the stitch appears in one of the projects. At the back of the book all the templatesyou will need are provided. I love this fact as it means I can use the book without having to re-size the patterns. Overall I really like the projects in the book and they bring together an amazing array of techniques using crazy quilting.
