LITTLE MIRACLES

While living on the island of Maui, novelist CHERYL HOLT received a visitation from an angel who claimed that God wanted her to build the first soup kitchen in Hawaii. Though she was called, she did not want to answer. The request seemed too daunting, the result too difficult to achieve. Yet she agreed to assume the responsibility and, on literally a wing and prayer, she stepped into a whirlwind of blessings.A decade later, she finally recorded the remarkable tale, so that others could hear the heavenly words that were spoken to her. In this story of wealth and poverty, kindness and charity, Holt shares the quiet news that she was witness to a modern-day miracle and that God really is watching over us.
