All the “lessons learned” have their roots in psychological theories, principles, and observations from her clinical practice.

Glenda Walkerhas a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Troy State University, a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctorate of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Her master's and doctorate majors were psychiatric nursing and community mental health nursing. Walker has focused her clinical practice in the area of family violence. She has been an educator and administrator in nursing education for thirty years and is currently the Director of the DeWitt School of Nursing at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
