Betina González is an Argentinian writer, poet, and journalist. She has a doctorate in Latin American literature and is currently a professor at the University of Buenos Aires. Her fiction for adults has won numerous prestigious prizes and she was the first woman ever to win the Premio Tusquets. Vampire Girl Conquers the Night is her debut work for children. Betina lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mariana Ruiz Johnson studied fine art and the illustration of books for children. She has been published as an author and illustrator all around the world and currently lives on the outskirts of Buenos Aires with her husband and two children. Xolo, her first book with Levine Querido, by Donna Barba Higuera, received five starred reviews, was named to ten best-of-year lists, and had its artwork praised as “impeccable, resplendent,” “boldly colorful,” and “irresistible.”Antonio Gonzalez Cerna is a translator, interpreter, and writer.
