Secret Cabana

In the second Isla of Adventure chapter book, Isla’s new friend thinks she sees a mermaid!

For a long time, no one knew Isla Verde’s secret power: she can speak to each and every animal on the island of Sol! Even though she tried to keep it a secret, Isla’s new friend and neighbor, Tora, quickly found out. Now, the two girls are the best of friends!

On a trip to the Verde family cabana, however, Isla is surprised that her sometimes-skeptical friend believes she sees a real-life mermaid. But Isla has never seen one before, so, surely, they can’t exist…right?

With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, the Isla of Adventure chapter books are perfect for beginning readers.
