The KING

Note to self: always vet your dates...

Turns out the guy I brought to my friend's dinner party has a wife. Awkward! Even more awkward? His wife happens to be at the same party. Cue yelling. Spilled food. Pure chaos.

Sitting next to the furious wife is a man named King. Tall, silent, dangerous. Apparently, her brother. And definitely someone I should not be making eye contact with...or thinking inappropriate thoughts about.

But hey, it's not like I'll ever see any of them again. At least, that was the idea.

Until I stop at the cheater's apartment to grab my car keys. Quick in, quick out. What I didn't plan on?

Witnessing a murder.
Being taken hostage.
And waking up next to a crime lord calling me wife.

Seriously-what the hell kind of bingo card is this?
