Frieda Ekotto is the Lorna Goodison Collegiate Professor of Afroamerican and African Studies, Comparative Literature, and Francophone Studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is the author of Don't Whisper Too Much and Portrait of a Young Artiste from Bona Mbella (Bucknell University Press), editor of Nimrod: Selected Work, and coeditor of The Wiley-Blackwell Companion to World Literature Vol. 4 and Rethinking African Cultural Production.
