When Chris Jones’ client shakes hands on a deal to sell his Dubai business, the lawyer is confronted with a rather inconvenient conflict of interest: Chris has every reason to wish for Mark’s deal to fail. 

Why? Chris is a bigamist with a family in London and another in Dubai. Now with the Dubai job at risk, there’s a fast-approaching deadline to fix the mess caused by this flawed existence.

Alex, Chris’ spouse in London, can’t get past the disappointment of a failed acting career to see there’s a nine-year-old in the house. The police have already been involved, and son, Josh, is at imminent risk. Chris’ other spouse, Amal, is facing prosecution in Dubai for crimes that carry a lengthy prison sentence. If convicted, who’s going to look after their young daughter? 

Time and options are running out when Chris is offered a lifeline. The businessman buying Mark’s company has found out about Chris’ secret double life and has responded with a proposal: it’s blackmail, it’s criminal... it’s appealing.
