Fantasy at it's best
One of the best ends of a series I have ever read. ....and I've literally read tons of books. Such a great book! It is great in itself as well as the end of the Gobbelino London series. All storylines of the previous parts are coming so smoothly together. I loved the beginning, the take home message, the end and everything in between. It is easy read, with humour, tension and this deep love for all sort of beings - just like all of Kim Watt's books. I won't write about the content of the book as it is perfect in it's own and I don't want to disturb your reading experience. My next book? Rereading the series with the new knowledge I gathered by reading this one. I will try to read them with a good cup of tea, a decent amount of biscuits and slowly, just enjoying it. ...that is the plan, which mostly doesn't work out well, due to the before mentioned tension and great style of writing. It simply drags you in the story (thank God not in the Inbetween) and then: Speedy story = speedy reading. I was lucky to be one of the ARC readers, who got it for free and in advance, but this did in no way influence my opinion of it. I have purchased most of the Gobbelino books as every other reader, such a good series! ...as all of Ms Watts books. I highly recommend the Beaufort Scales books and What happended in London? as well. Happy reading - it made me happy!
