Many years ago, my Grade 1 student, Zhavago Jolly, then four years old explained that there is a difference between ''Like'' and ''Love''. His explanation was that "Like'', is when you talk about your friend, but ''Love'' is when you give your friend roses and stuff". Well, that thought has surely made the realization of this publication possible because of the content therein.

This compilation of poems spans over a period of twenty-five years and so there are those based on ''LIKE'' and ''LOVE''. Collectively, they are based on emotions. Emotions are mental states brought on by changes, associated with thoughts, feelings, behavioral responses, and a degree of pleasure or displeasure. It is correct to say that ''Emotions are often intertwined with mood, personality, disposition, or creativity''.
