E.J. Cousins, 17, (Hertfordshire, England), loves the disgusting. He is an avid fan of cinema, especially horror. Influenced by the work of David Cronenberg, Quentin Tarantino, and Dario Argento, he has become fascinated with the connection between beautiful images and disgusting actions. This influence spreads further to literature, principally Edgar Allen Poe and H.G. Wells with their blending of science fiction and psychological horror. Ethan has been writing short horror stories since the age of 14, and with this first book, he follows in the footsteps of these great film makers and writers, who love the disgusting.
