CherylChivers was born in Grafton, NSW, Australia on the mightyClarenceRiver. Surrounded by amazing floodplains, gorges, beaches, wetlands andrainforests, Cheryl developed a keen interest in environmental conservation. Bystudying Environmental Education, Children’s Literature and Storytelling,Cheryl was able to integrate her interest with her career in teaching and herlove of writing. Since retirement, Cheryl now resides on a bush block near thesea which she shares with her husband and a variety of native animals.Claire Westwoodcurrently lives in Sussex, England. Using mixed media, Claire creates emotionalexpressions of spontaneous inspiration, with dreamlike, imagined scenes. Usingcolour as a main feature, her work is said to be ethereal with a story to be told.Claire studied Art at university and has a postgraduate degree in illustration.Her experience ranges from fine art, book and magazine illustration to logos,web design and advertising.
