Heather Main is an elementary teacher who grew up in Arviat, Nunavut and has travelled to many Nunavut communities through work in the territory. Her favourite part of teaching is reading aloud to children. She now lives in Toronto with her husband and son.Emma Pedersen is an illustrator from Toronto, ON, currently living in a creaky 1890s fixer-upper in Hamilton, ON. She graduated from OCADU with a degree in drawing and painting which was followed with a Bachelors of Illustration from Sheridan College. Emma loves illustrating small moments of quiet intensity, as well as big, exuberant expressions of joy and fun. She is in love with her dogs, collects books to leave in piles, and is a pretty good hand at installing baseboards.
