John Marsden wrote the Tomorrow series while working as a teacher in Australia to show his students that reading isn't boring. The Tomorrow series has become Australia's most successful YA series ever, and John is Australia's most celebrated author for young people. The first book in the series, Tomorrow When the War Began, was released as a major motion picture in 2011.
