With the demolition of the structure in 2014 to make way for a new state of the art stand, Neil Palmer along with Bristol City have decided to mark its passing with stories from fans and players who have loved that part of Ashton Gate for years. Whether it was The Covered end, The East End or The Wedlock stand, through the decades this humble terracing has been part of the very fabric of the club and its supporters. The book is an oral history with recollections, opinions and impressions taken from emails, telephone conversations, interviews and letters conducted by Palmer with players and fans over a 12 month period.
