    Beskrivning

Brother Andrew was no stranger to adventure and intrigue – in fact, he craved it.  As a young lad, he was forever getting into mischief, and even risked his life during the Nazi occupation of Holland by setting off fireworks in the faces of German soldiers!  Years later, God used this same thirst for danger and excitement as Andrew smuggled Bibles into Communist countries to help the persecuted, underground church and bring light to darkened hearts. Enemy lines and hostile borders mean nothing to God or to Andrew, who still works to assist the persecuted church across the world through the organization he founded, Open Doors. The Trailblazer series collects great stories from Christians of the past and delivers them to the young people of today. This gripping and astonishing story from Nancy Drummond will challenge young readers to be bold for God like Brother Andrew was. A well–known and long–standing series:Over 50 titlesGreat for ages 9 to 14Published in 14 languagesHalf a million books soldAlso available in box sets when one book is not enough! 7 themed box sets, each with 5 booksEach biography follows the trailblazer’s journey to faith, and on to the work that God had planned for them. With lots of dialogue, these engaging stories show how God uses normal individuals to bring about his purpose. Each book features:Thinking Further Topics for each chapter to help readers think about how what they’ve read applies to their life todayTimeline of important events in the lifetime of each book’s subject

    Recensioner i media

”In Behind Enemy Lines, Nancy Drummond tells the story of what happened when Brother Andrew- as Andrew was later known- became a Christian. She describes how God used him in incredible and miraculous ways to bring the Gospel to persecuted Christians living in Communist countries, where belief in Jesus was against the law aand Christians were forbidden to meet, or even own a Bible.“Free-Magazine- Free Church of Scotland Youth Magazine
