He creates histimeless illustrations using wood engraving and linocut, as well as digital engravingworking with tablet and computer. Chris has written and illustrated many children'sbooks and most recently gained recognition for the cover illustration of theaward-winning bestselling H is for Hawk, by Helen Macdonald, as well as forPhilip Pullman's La Belle Sauvage: The Book of Dust Volume One.

For dinosaur fans (and frankly, who isn't?) Big Picture Press's Dinosaurium , a visit to a book museum of dinosaurs, is a lavishly illustrated succession of the beasts, described by Lily Murray with wonderful pictures by Chris Wormell. Quite fabulous.
