Beskrivning
Yarn Cake Amigurumi is a collection of 15 adorable amigurumi animals and creatures to crochet using multicoloured yarn cakes.Amigurumi is the art of using crochet to make toys, and varied and fun creations in this book range from Biscuit, the adorably cute little duckling, and Aggie, the punkish bull, to Garrick, the mythical dragon, and Jasper, the inquisitive puppy. All the projects are made using ombré yarn cakes, which have seamless fades of colour hues, from light to dark and allow the readers to crochet lots of colour, without the need to constantly change yarn. These creations will stand out among the sea of solid coloured amigurumi designs, with their bold, transitional striping and flair.

Recensioner i media

Yarn Cake Amigurumi does exactly what it says it will do – make amigurumi, from a yarn cake! Jacki has created a collection of 15 supercute creatures to crochet, from the humble sheep to a mighty dragon, and a popular axolotl too. Each design leans into the natural colour-changes of the yarn cake that the pattern calls for, while also guiding the reader as to how they can achieve a neat and balanced finish with their toy too, without risking random, unplanned colour changes and designs. The photography throughout the collection is absolutely charming and showcases each creature beautifully.
