Following on from the success of Jo Allport’s 10,000 Knitted Hats, Emma Varnam has released 10,000 Crocheted Hats, an innovative modular book that allows you to create unique crocheted beanies in a truly stunning number of combinations. The pages are split into three so you can choose your own crown, body and brim. Each hat starts with the crown and works downwards, and the flip-book format allows you to mix and match your headgear with ease. There are mindbogglingly many stitches to choose from, from plain double crochet and treble clusters to granny squares, cable twists and mosaics. Favourite combinations include a mosaic stitch body with a puff stitch brim, a dogtooth stripe body and crown with a plain extended double crochet brim and a fan stitch body with a top knot crown.
