In 2022, hewas awarded an honorary doctorate by Southampton Solent University for servicesto sport.KevinWhitcher edited the long-running Arsenal fanzine The Gooner from 2000 to2020 and now writes the Substack column 'Arsenal Musings'. He has attendedArsenal matches regularly since 1986 and has written five books on the club. Helives in London and works as a holistic therapist.
