Michelle Allen (Edited By) Dr Michelle T. Allen (formerly Michelle McLeod) is the Assistant Provost, Tourism and Hospitality at the University of The Bahamas, Nassau, The Bahamas. Her experience in the tourism industry spans over 35 years, both professional and academic. Dr Allen is a graduate of The University of the West Indies (UWI), Centre for Hotel and Tourism Management (CHTM) in Nassau, The Bahamas, the University of Surrey, and Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom, where she obtained a doctorate with no corrections after her Viva and a postgraduate certificate in Education Practice. Her current research interests encompass the areas of tourism development, island tourism, service productivity, knowledge networks, and policy networksRobertico R Croes (Edited By) currently serves as the Associate Dean, Interim Chair of the Tourism, Events & Attractions department as well as the Associate Director of the Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida. Professor Croes has published three books entitled, "The Small Island Paradox: Tourism Specialization as a Potential Solution", "Anatomy of Demand in International Tourism", and his most recent book "Poverty Alleviation through Tourism Development". Additionally, he is a contributor to several books. His fields of interest include: econometrics applications in hospitality, tourism demand analysis/forecasting, tourism economic impact, competitive and sustainable tourism in tourism development analysis, tourism development applied to poverty alleviation and tourism development in small islands and developing countries. Professor Croes is the recipient of the 2015 Thea Sinclair Award.Noel Scott (Series Edited By) Noel Scott is Adjunct Professor of Tourism Management in the Sustainability Research Centre, University of the Sunshine Coast. His research interests include the study of wildlife tourism, tourism experiences, destination management and marketing, and stakeholder organization. He has over 300 academic articles published including 16 books. He is on the Editorial Board of 10 journals, a Fellow of the Council of Australian University Tourism and Hospitality Educators, and a member of the International Association of China Tourism Scholars.Eric Laws (Series Edited By) Eric Laws has an MPhil from the University of Surrey and a PhD from Griffith University. He has retired from full time academic life, and is Visiting Professor at Leshan Normal University, Sichuan, P.R. China. His research interests include tourism service quality, destination management, crisis management and elephant tourism. Eric's publications include nearly 100 journal articles, book chapters and conference papers. The Elephant Tourism Business is Eric's twentieth authored or edited book.
