Muireann is a children's author and performer. Although a Cork City native, she spent much of her childhood in the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht in Kerry where her father's family are from and is a proud Irish speaker. When she’s not writing books, dancing about on your TV screen or cooking up new shows or ideas, you'll find her in the sea, doodling in her sketchbook or most likely running around after her young and very energetic sons on the beaches of Tramore, Co. Waterford.Paul Nugent is an illustrator and author based in Dublin. An avid fan of visual story telling in all its forms, his work emphasises humour and accessibility above all else. He jumps at any opportunity to shoehorn a bad pun into his work.Spring Chicken is Paul’s debut author illustrated book and his second book with The O’Brien Press alongside Murphy’s Law.
