   Underhållande noir av favoritregissör!

   Lite otippat att filmregissören Brian de Palma, en av mina favoriter med filmer som Blow out, De omutbara, Scarface, Dressed to kill mfl, skulle ge sig på författaryrket. Men samtidigt inte. Hans filmer de senaste ca tjugo åren har varit mediokra, så kanske kan det bli bättre i romanform? Faktiskt så är detta en klassisk de Palma fast man får klara sig utan det visuella (även om man lätt skapar bilder i huvudet). Politiker i trubbel, konspirationer, sex, våld och en final i Paris som för tankarna lite till Hitchcocks film "En studie i brott". En skruvad thriller som, för att citera Prins Daniel, är lite all over the place, men som har sköna karaktärer och som inte minst leder fram till en final som är så typiskt de Palma. En svag fyra men klart läsvärd hyllning till gamla noir-thrillers och lite av en blinkning till hans egna pärlor från back in the day. Och roligt verkar han haft det tillsammans med Susan Lehman!
