Why, Father?

From No.1 bestselling author Toni Maguire comes a new true story of abuse and survival

Gerri was just a young girl when she was groomed and abused by her father. Growing up in a small village in Northern Ireland, in the tumultuous time of the Troubles, she had no one to turn to. Her father''s unforgivable acts set off a chain of events that allowed even more evil to enter their home and led to Gerri being abandoned by her entire family.

Separated from those who loved her, Gerri found herself completely alone as she confronted the horrors from her past.

After years of shame and isolation, Gerri finally met a partner who helped her to heal the wounds she had been left to carry. With his love and support, Gerri decided it was time for her story to be told.
