PatSimmons lives in Scarborough, New South Wales, Australia, with her two cats,Mr. Meowgi and Oscar. Pat is a writer of poetry, short stories, adult flashfiction, and children's picture books. As a published poet, Pat has won awardsin the United Kingdom and Australia. Pat worked in children's services such asOut of School Hours Care, preschool, and at the Australian National MaritimeMuseum, running school holiday and weekend programmes for children beforemoving into writing.Nicolas Gouny lives amongthe cows and trees of a small village in the French countryside. With twentyyears of experience in writing and illustrating, Nicolas originally studiedliterature and economics, working in the publishing industry before becoming anillustrator. His graphic palette creates a colourful and imaginary universe,capturing the subtle poetry of small things.
