A quirky selection of Gnomes to Sew, each with their unique names, personalities and stories. Debbie Shore’s new book has clear photos, not only of the completed project but easy to follow instructions to enable very ability of sewer to create a masterpiece. Step by step you can create 12 magical friends with the added benefit of full size patterns in two different size characters. The first few pages explain the notions and materials best used for the projects, as well as close up photos and instructions for visual learners to explain the tricky sections of constructing the body, shoes and beards. Debbie always encourages the use of recycled materials and additions to make your gnomes unique. She also suggests making your own designed Gnome family to compliment those in the book. Great value for money, this would be an ideal book, for sewers of all abilities due to the materials used. There is also the option to hand sew if a machine is not an option. This is a must have book for your sewing shelf.
