Moments and millennia are as muddled as the elements. In these poems nothing is pure and everything is borrowed. Language is hybrid; poems are ‘stolen’ and ‘observed’.Local Interest questions boundaries and belonging, squinting at ideas of invasion and migration, borders and crossings.
