She founded and directed a non-profit, Casa de Paz SLV, that provides trauma-informed yoga for asylum seekers, refugees and new immigrants.In 2022, Gina received the internationally recognized SEVA (service) award by the International Association of Yoga Therapists for her work with trauma-informed yoga for asylum seekers, refugees and new immigrants at the Texas/Mexico Border. She lives in Colorado, USA.
