Catherine Veitch (Author) Catherine Veitch has a passion for entertaining, educating and inspiring children through early years fiction, novelty, activity, puzzle, non-fiction and phonic books. She has written over 150 books on topics as varied as pirates, inventions, school, animals, wellbeing, memory techniques, our senses, countries, Sherlock Holmes' brainteasers, dinosaurs, aliens, sea monsters and unicorns! Her children's bedtime story 'Shine Brightly' was a winning entry, read out online by Santa one Christmas. Catherine studied for an English literature and linguistics degree at Sheffield City Polytechnic and for a postgraduate primary teaching certificate at Goldsmiths University, London. When she is not writing, you'll find Catherine on a yoga mat or heading off for an adventure along the coast.Holly Surplice (Illustrator) Holly is a Scottish illustrator and author and the creator of Peek-a-boo Bunny, About a Bear, I Love You, Little One and Snow Still among other works. When Holly isn't creating picture books or being Mum, you can find her under a pile of guinea pigs and an oversized lapdog.
