The volume includes papers that address theoretical and empirical issues including 1) literature reviews in the areas of race, gender, masculinity and DEI initiatives, 2) how political party affiliations impact social forces such as situational affective definitions and levels of institutional trust, and 3) whether or not group membership affects the tendency to intervene in fraternity hazing, if gender ideologies are related to support for legalized abortion, and the emotional responses to acts of intergroup forgiveness and revenge. Overall, the volume includes papers that reflect a wide range of theoretical approaches from leading scholars who work in the general area of group processes.
