A secret time portal. A desperate cry for help. Can a young girl alter her own fate and prevent impending catastrophe? The Time Crystals is a prize-winning time travel adventure with twists and turns and an exhilarating finale.
Teresa Bassett writes mysteries and adventure stories for young and young-at-heart adults, mostly set in her home county of Cornwall, UK. A graduate of the University of Bath, she formerly worked as a foreign languages teacher, magazine writer and translator. She also spent eleven years with educational charity The Eden Project, where she learned all kinds of wonderful things about plants and people. Over the years, Teresa has travelled far and wide, including working and studying in Germany and Italy. She now lives with husband Mark and feisty cockatiel Lucy in a house she helped to build in the Cornish tin-mining village where she was born. When not writing, Teresa loves to spend time walking, cooking or working (aka daydreaming) in her wildlife garden. You can find Teresa at https://linktr.ee/teresabassett

"In this thrilling time travel page-turner, four kids from rural England learn that no less than the fate of the world as we know it will be determined by them. Or, more specifically, by 12-year-old Clara Callenick and how good she is at convincing her grandmother not to sell land that has been in the family for generations. There's only one problem: Gran has already agreed to sell the land to Derek Maunding, a conniving local businessman ... What ensues is a series of hair-raising, edge-of-your-seat events culminating in a delightful story that packs a powerful values punch relevant to both young and not-so-young adults." - Publishers Weekly (Review of the unpublished manuscript, Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award)
