Nicola Edwards was raised by the seaside in beautiful Brighton. She loves reading, dancing, rhyming and turquoise things. She now lives with her husband and children in North London and spends her days writing and editing children's books. She has been nominated for the UKLA and Blue Peter Book awards and is a two-time Parenting Product Awards winner. Maria studied graphic design and illustration before becoming a freelance author and illustrator. When she is not sketching or illustrating, she loves spending time with her little son, enjoys being in the mountains or discovering new places. She never says no to coffee and ice cream.
