Country Mouse is going on an adventure! He's leaving his quiet countryside to stay with his friend in the Big City. But when Country Mouse looks across the rooftops and sees the green hills of his home, he begins to feel sad.
Simon Prescott first realised he had a talent for drawing when one of his masterpieces was exhibited on the 80s children's TV classic, Wacaday. Since then he has honed his skills at the Norwich School of Art, achieving a BA in Graphic Design, and the Cambridge School of Art, where he gained an MA in Children's Book Illustration. Small Mouse Big City is Simon's first book and has earned him a place on the Booktrust Early Years Awards shortlist in the Best New Illustrator Category.
