Debbie Tarbett worked for an animation company for a number of years before becoming a freelance illustrator in 2002 and has worked on the BAFTA award-winning "Maisy" series. She has won two Gold Practical Pre-school Awards for her best-selling counting books, Ten Wriggly Wiggly Caterpillars and Ten Tiny Tadpoles. Debbie lives in Exeter with her young family, plays squash for the Devon league and enjoys scuba diving and snowboarding, and has been learning to surf.
