Julia Hubery was born in Stamford and trained as an architect. She loves the countryside and nature and finds it a pool of inspiration to draw upon in her writing. Julia lives in Gosport with her husband and children. A Friend Like You is her second book for Little Tiger Press. Caroline Pedler lives in St Agnes in Cornwall and has been illustrating children's books since 1999. She also illustrates greetings cards and paints on canvas. She has illustrated Bedtime for Little Bears! and Don't Be Afraid, Little Ones for Little Tiger Press.
