Laurie Krebs draws inspiration for her books from her adventures around the world. She is a former teacher from Connecticut, USA, and a mother and grandmother. She is the author of many globe-trotting titles for Barefoot Books, including We All Went on Safari and Off We Go to Mexico! Christopher Corr is a painter and illustrator based in London. He travels the world painting people, colorful places and beautiful buildings. Since studying at the Royal College of Art, he has painted in numerous locations for exhibitions, commissions and publications. His travels include India, Cuba, Tunisia, Peru, Tahiti, Australia, the Comoros Islands, New York, Los Angeles and London. Corr has illustrated other popular Barefoot titles including My Granny Went to Market and Off We Go to Mexico.
