After Image

After Image, Mary Turley-McGrath’s new collection, is grounded in contemplations of her natural surroundings and her meditations on the lake she visits often in all weathers for consolation, hope, and inspiration. Clearly aware of the darkness overshadowing the beauty of the natural world in our time, the poet confronts us with the full and paradoxical image of human experience.
