Sentence Copymasters

Read each sentence together, emphasising the alliterative words to heighten awareness of the featured letter and its sound. Next, guide non-readers into behaving like readers, finger pointing and saying the words from memory while they discover that every spoken word matches to a written shape. Finally, each child can build their hand-coloured pages into a book to enjoy at home with their families and friends.
