Strange Days Indeed

A unique collection of autobiographical writings about motherhood, penned by women from Wales. Funny, shocking and tender, it covers the whole spectrum of what it means to be a mother - from getting pregnant to the empty-nest syndrome. A young woman gets pregnant whilst technically still a virgin; a woman giving birth in a Belgian hospital finds her O level French is useless when questioned about her bowel movements - and a mother faces the reality of her son becoming a heroin addict. These are the untold stories of motherhood.
