Beskrivning
A `must-buy’ for all Bluebird fans, this informative and entertaining illustrated history tells the amazing story of despair and triumph that was the `roller-coaster’ 18-year period from 1993 to 2009. Cardiff City supporters can, through over 370 photos, relive the memorable FA Cup victories, with Nathan Blake’s wonder goal against Man City in 1994 and Scott Young’s toe-poke against Leeds in 2002, yet also look back at the dark days of an almost empty Ninian Park in the old 4th Division. Richard Shepherd’s photo-packed 192-page book recalls the heartbreaking play-off defeats; the elation of promotions back through the divisions; the coming and going of several colourful owners and managers; and the move to the Cardiff City Stadium. All City fans will have their own special moment but whether a shake of the head in disbelief or a broad grin of happiness, this book will jog the memories of that remarkable ride!

Recensioner i media

`Those years that I spent with Cardiff City were the best of my playing-career, and the photos in this book bring it all back to me’ Graham Kavanagh, Captain, Cardiff City (2001-2004); `I was with the Club for the 20 years featured in this book. There I am as a YTS teenager about to sign professional in 1994, and eight years later I’m scoring that goal to beat Leeds United in the F.A. Cup. It’s a great record of my time with Cardiff City.’ Scott Young, Player, Cardiff City (1993-2004); `...we certainly had our ups and downs, which are well-illustrated in this photo-archive book.’ Steve Borley, former Director, Cardiff City FC
