Revisit 10 April 1994, when the Latics were 13 minutes away from winning the League Cup. 24 April 1915: a 2-0 defeat by Liverpool that left Oldham runners-up in the League. Or 25 October 1989, when at one point the scoreboard read Frankie Bunn 6 Scarborough 0!

Dave Moore is the author of Oldham Athletic Miscellany. Dave attended the University of Manchester and pursued a teaching career; firstly in Tameside and eventually in Canada, where he soon set up a branch of the Latics supporters club. Currently planning his retirement, Dave aims to take the opportunity to spend more time at Boundary Park.
