Writer-illustrator Sarah McIntyre loves comics, raspberry jam and inappropriate dinnertime conversation. Funnily enough, these things all relate to her books Vern and Lettuce, Jampires and Morris the Mankiest Monster. These titles have bagged prizes including the Sheffield Children's Books Overall Award, the Bishop Stortford Picture Book Award and the Leeds Graphic Novel Award (now the Young People's Comic Award).
