"I’ve had an amazing idea! / Original, brand new and fool-proof / Brilliant, illusory, single-solutionary / Unlike things previous / This is ingenious / Inspired, indeed revolutionary" Thoughtful and brilliantly funny, Valerie Darnley’s original collection becomes a self-portrait with the warmth and character of a diary in verse. An honest and enchantingly well-observed debut.
