Beskrivning
When a “software error” erases Zala from the system, she discovers that officially, she and her newborn don’t exist. As Zala fights desperately to prove her existence, and save her child from adoption, she uncovers the Kafkaesque reality of Slovenia’s system — one that erased 25,671 citizens on February 26, 1992.A chilling thriller about bureaucracy as violence, and one mother’s battle against the state.

Recensioner i media

'This was a shocking, thought-provoking read that got me thinking about displaced people - of the emotional impact and loss when communities are forcibly divided by imposed borders. This book delves deeper into this largely secret issue. Of note in 1992, 25671 people were ‘erased’ in the Republic of Slovenia and not all of these have been resolved yet. A very interesting read which I’d certainly recommend.' - Kerrie, Loved Reading This
